Nature Belongs to Everybody

ABOUT US

Welcome to Blacks in Nature

Our group started in May 2022. We are a diverse group of outdoor enthusiasts, ranging from seasoned adventurers to beginners just dipping their toes into the world of outdoor exploration. What unites us is our shared curiosity and reverence for nature. Our members come from various backgrounds, ages, and walks of life, which enriches our community with unique perspectives and experiences.

Our mission is simple: We empower families and individuals to experience and enjoy the wonders of nature. We believe that outdoor adventures not only provide thrilling experiences but also foster personal growth, promote physical well-being, and create lasting memories. We aim to inspire and empower our members to embark on unforgettable journeys, explore new landscapes, and forge lifelong friendships along the way.

In June 2024, we introduced Black Kids in Nature, an initiative dedicated to creating enriching outdoor experiences for black children. We want to foster a deep connection with nature, promote environmental stewardship, and provide a safe and supportive community for young adventurers.
